• Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
• Perform specialized techniques such as hair extensions, threading, and straight razor cuts.
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Offer excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and providing tailored recommendations.
• Engage in retail sales by upselling products that enhance clients' hair care routines.
• Assist with front desk duties as needed, including greeting clients and managing appointments.
• Mentor junior stylists or interns to foster skill development within the team.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, makeup application, and nail care.
• Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proficient in various hair styling techniques and color theory.
• Experience with salon software systems; familiarity with MINDBODY is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships.
• Knowledge of retail math to assist with sales strategies and inventory management.
• Previous experience in store management or mentoring is advantageous.
