Project Manager Lead

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the assignment and scheduling of projects. This role is ideal for an experienced project manager aspiring to step into a directorial position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the general manager and receive strong support from the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the engineering team, including six project managers and two administrative staff.
  • Assign tasks and manage the programs' schedule to ensure project completion.
  • Develop and manage RFPs, proposals, and submittals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence sales strategies and market direction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Advocate for and push back on necessary changes to optimize team performance.
  • Ensure the department's growth and success by contributing innovative ideas and solutions.

Essential Skills

  • Proven management experience in engineering or project management roles.
  • Strong skills in people management and team leadership.
  • Experience with SolidWorks and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Ability to manage projects and programs within the automation, manufacturing, or construction industries.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in automation is beneficial, though not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage large-scale budgets and projects ranging from $40 to $100 million.
  • Good attitude and adaptability to diverse business sectors.
  • Work Environment

    This role involves a dynamic work environment with opportunities to travel both locally and internationally, accounting for about 20% of the year.     This is a Permanent position based out of Englewood, Colorado.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00 / yr.
