Description of required duties :
Inpatient : Phone calls related to night call (see below) if call is taken
Outpatient : Standard office practice work (new and follow up visits, Epic inbox messages, patient calls, etc.)
Procedures required : EEG interpretation (preferred)
Supporting staff : Office administrative staff, nurses
Schedule : Regular Business Days 8-5 with an hour break for lunch. Template designed for 8-12 patients a day we can schedule for multiple days in a row up to 4 days
Hours : 8-5 typically the template allows for charting during the day, so overtime would be infrequent.
Call : Not likely to be needed
Volume : 2-4 calls / night (if call is taken)
On Call : Would need to round on inpatients on weekends if weekend call taken. Pediatric Neurology is only a consult service. There are usually only 1-2 neurology patients inpatient at a time, but there can be more. We have a large NICU a small PICU and a moderate size peds unit so they would need to cover 0-18.
Active PA License needed
EMR : EPIC. Experience with EPIC highly preferred
