JOB DESCRIPTION / TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN :
Work with various L6-L8 teams to understand configuration variations and developing detailed strategic test plans to minimize repetition of tests on multiple machines as well as repetition of testsUnderstand the current TPG testing / tuning activities and develop clear requirements for VPD, SIL and HIL with the objective to reduce / eliminate the TPG testing / tuning activities for multiple in-progress / future programsParticipate in validation workshops for AHS as well as base machine programs and provide data collection requirements for model correlationSupport controls and software validation activities for various programs as neededDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
This is a highly technical leadership role that is required to be co-located with MTES, PVS organization and Proving Grounds. Leading close collaboration efforts with various teams and participating in testing at Proving Grounds are critical.Position plays a key role in improving R&E efficiency for an organization by driving synergies between base machine development and Autonomous development. Will work on multiple NPI programs with multi-year outlook to develop efficient validation plans.A Senior Test Engineer Retiree or a Senior Performance / Controls / VPD Engineer Retiree would be Ideal for the role.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering, Physics, CS or related field.Minimum 5-7 years in this capacity is a mustNo cap on experienceREQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS :
