Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for night shifts who is knowledgeable in mobile and stationary radiographic equipment and holds BCLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a hospital radiology diagnostic unit
  • Night shifts from 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Patient population and types of cases typical for a diagnostic radiology department
  • Utilizes mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Primary source verification of professional license and certifications will be conducted as required
  • Candidate will be responsible for following hospital protocols and ensuring quality diagnostic imaging
  • Requires knowledge of both mobile and stationary radiology equipment in clinical settings
  • Accepts local and travel candidates at the same rate
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification is required
  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit required if applicable
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiology program
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required
  • Proficient computer skills are required
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding radiology practice
  • Completion of workplace violence prevention certification (can be completed via provided resources)
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
