Correctional / Nurse Practitioner hiring asap for part time role!

Shift description : Two ten-hour shifts / week, no evenings, weekends, or holidays, with some flexibility in start / end times.

Job Description

Provide on-site primary care services part-time to the male population at this correctional facility.

Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations.

Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in alignment with evidence-based practices.

Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within scope of practice and facility guidelines.

Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment compliance.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, and correctional officers to coordinate patient care.

Education / Licenses Needed

Required certifications and degrees : Ohio license, healthcare-professional level BLS / CPR certification, board certification, Drug Enforcement Administration certification
