Job summary :

The Shipping Manager will oversee all daily operations of the shipping department, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently packed and dispatched to customers on time. This hands-on leadership role involves optimizing processes, controlling inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.

Key responsibilities :

• Count and document quantities of incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Check in all incoming materials and organize per department.
• Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring all orders are processed accurately, packaged securely, and shipped in a timely manner.
• Manage daily delivery routes - we typically have 2-3 drivers on the road at a time.
• Oversee and manage warehousing functions for finished products and raw materials.
• Receive items in our E2 software.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, such as shippers, bills of lading and advanced shipping notices.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Purchase boxes and other shipping items
