Sr Accountant FT ROC

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Senior Accountant is responsible for Net Revenue calculations for selected FEDs and prepares related letters that is distributed to Regional CFO. Serves as primary resource to Accountants for daily and monthly Accounting / AR / AP / PFS / & Supply Chain processes. Assists with Bank and selected Balance Sheet reconciliations as necessary. Coordinates Internal and External Audit requests. Participates in Annual Budget preparation. Maintains employee sign-on bonus and escheat schedules. Assists with month-end review of schedules prepared by Accountants.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Three or more years of experience in Accounting within a Healthcare setting is preferred

2. Proficient in Account Analysis required

3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Powerpoint & Excel, with emphasis on Pivots & Smart View functions.

4. Familiar with PCBS and other budgeting healthcare software

5. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

EDUCATION / LICENSURE :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
