Job Title : Social Studies Tutor
General Responsibilities : Under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development, plans and facilitates collaborative social studies tutoring sessions for high school students.
Major Duties :
- Meets regularly with the Director of Educational Development
- Plans and facilitates group and / or 1 : 1 high school social studies tutoring sessions
- Assists students in the development of appropriate study skills, completion of homework and projects, and exploring topics of interest to the student
- Maintains consistent communication the Director of Educational Development
- Models appropriate academic and social behaviors
- Performs other duties as assigned
