Pop Rock Music Producer – Freelance Job at Twine in San Diego

This role is for a music producer to collaborate on a debut album featuring 12 tracks rooted in pop, with strong alternative and rock influences. The project is a deeply personal narrative, chronicling a journey of transformation and overcoming adversity. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a passion for storytelling through music, helping to shape a cohesive and emotionally resonant sound.

The album’s themes require a producer who can sensitively interpret and elevate the artist’s vision, ensuring each track contributes to the overarching story.

Responsibilities

• Produce, arrange, and mix 12 original tracks in pop, alternative, and rock styles
• Collaborate closely with the artist to capture the intended emotional tone and narrative arc
• Guide the recording process, including vocal and instrumental sessions
• Provide creative input on song structure, instrumentation, and sonic direction
• Deliver high-quality, ready-for-release masters for all tracks
• Offer feedback and revisions as needed to achieve the desired sound
