Flame Engine / Unity Component Lead

Part I – Overview

We utilize a 5-step interview process to evaluate candidates on their ability to lead and deliver on this strategic component of our platform. As a cofounder, you will have a significant influence over the technical direction and strategic partnerships, and you will benefit from deep equity participation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Development & Architecture :

Spearhead the design and implementation of a next-generation gaming technology component, ensuring seamless functionality across a variety of environments.

Develop an integration layer that enhances gaming capabilities across different technologies while optimizing performance for diverse use cases.

Build flexible, developer-friendly solutions that enable smooth interactions between multiple external services and tools.

Innovate and implement real-time data processing, analytics, and interaction models that enhance user engagement and system efficiency.

Work closely with the core team to align development efforts with broader platform goals, ensuring long-term scalability and adaptability.

Ideal Experience :

Candidates who thrive in this role typically have :

Proven track record in building or contributing to projects using Dart and Flutter, particularly in the context of game development.

Familiarity with industry-standard engines and integration techniques, with a solid understanding of bridging native and external systems.

Experience designing modular APIs and adapter layers that abstract complex integrations.

A strong background in developing scalable, real-time solutions in cloud environments.

Demonstrated ability to work in agile, Git-based environments with CI / CD pipelines, and a passion for mentoring and ecosystem building.
