Electrical Design Engineer

Becker is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to specify and source electrical components and systems for overhead traveling cranes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with automation, motors, brakes, wiring, and other related electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and specify electrical components and systems for overhead cranes
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and bills of material
• Perform calculations and generate layouts to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide technical customer service
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet project milestones Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of electrical principles, power and control circuits, and industrial and commercial wiring practices
• Familiarity with variable frequency drive (VFD) motor control and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills What We Offer :
