Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Location : Roswell, NM

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM, Monday–Friday

Weekends / On Call : None

Requirements :

1+ years of inpatient PT experience (beyond student clinicals)

New Mexico PT license can be pending at submittal , but must be obtained before the start date (start date must be within 6 weeks of submittal)

DPT preferred

Competency and knowledge in CMS skilled criteria / medical necessity guidelines

Ability to work independently as the sole PT provider in the inpatient setting

Experience with Meditech documentation system

Experience treating patients from pediatrics through geriatrics

EMR : Cerner

Role Summary :

Physical Therapists examine individuals, develop treatment plans, and use therapeutic techniques to reduce pain, restore mobility, improve function, and prevent disability. PTs also educate patients on long-term health management and provide wellness and fitness guidance. Care is provided across a wide range of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, home health, and skilled nursing facilities.
