Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create syllabus and timeline of classes each semester.
- Provide meeting times for students.
- Manage online grading system and submit grades timely.
- Follow all relevant university and department policies.
Required Qualifications :
Knowledge of principles, methods, and current developments in the field.Knowledge of subject matter and course content.Instructional strategies and techniques.Ability to support, instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students.Proficient in computers, Internet resources, and MS Office.Ability to learn BannerWeb for student grading.Ability to integrate technology into teaching.Effective communication skills, verbally and in writing.Knowledge of Belmont University's programs and services.Ability to work with diverse constituencies.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in the specific discipline; PhD preferred.Higher education teaching experience preferred.The selected candidate will need to complete a satisfactory background check. Belmont University participates in E-Verify.
