Shipping / Receiving Clerk

Our client, a leader in the plastic pellet industry, is seeking a Shipping / Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping / Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Warehouse operations supporting the Inventory Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Eagle Rock, VA

Pay Range : $16.50 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Shift : 1st shift working 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Identify and tag items to pack on customer orders.
• Pack items securely for shipment on UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL, and truck shipments.
• Use current business system to reprint packing slips and identification tags for spare parts orders.
• Receive and inspect commercial items ordered from suppliers.
• Operate a forklift to load / unload trucks and to remove / replace items on inventory shelves.
