Position Summary

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The incumbent is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and other health care team members. The incumbent, as a member of the health care team appropriately assists team members in providing holistic care to patients and their support systems with an awareness of cost containment and time management.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications :

  • 1 year recent acute care telemetry, critical care or step down unit.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • California RN license
  • Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • May consider training with 6 months of recent (within 1 year) experience in a Medical / Surgical area, if operational considerations exist.

Training Positions Require Completion Of The Following

12-lead EKG class

Completion of PCU ECCO and a NIHSS Shock Class

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with A-line, CVP, and central monitoring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • CCRN or PCCN certifications

    $52.59 - $71.48 / hour
