BLS Certification Required Prior to First Shift
ACLS Required Prior to First Shift (CIRH ONLY)
Minimum Two (2) Years Bedside Clinical Experience (Highly desired)
13 weeks
Rotating weekends / holiday
Assumes charge responsibility following orientation period as requested
ADDITIONAL DETAILS :
Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission
Provides patient information and status in a timely manner for the Initial Team Conference and for Re-evaluation Team Conferences on a weekly basis

Identifies teaching needs and goals related to the diagnosis of each patient
Responsible and accountable for accurate documentation
Participates in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unit
Initiates discharge planning on all patients from the day of admission
Communicates all pertinent information regarding changes in patient's status
Provides direction, training and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel
Provides for and assures personal and environmental safety
Positively contributes to the functioning of the unit
Maintains communication with manager and senior nursing staff
Identifies and initiates own professional growth
Prioritizes activities and plans for effective use of time and staff
Performs other duties as requested
