Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts are from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Weekends are required and holidays as needed. At least 4 on-call shifts per month are also expected. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to care for veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes ensuring appropriate documentation reflects patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical interventions, and evaluations of patient responses to treatments. Responsibilities Assure proper documentation of patient assessments and treatment plans. Evaluate patients' responses to treatments and interventions. Assign and evaluate the work of non-nursing direct care providers in the operating room. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience. Experience in at least one specialty : Ortho, Vascular, Davinci, Neuro, or Surgery is required; experience in all four areas is highly preferred. Required scrub and circulating experience. BLS certification from AHA and a New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license is required. Epic documentation experience is preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
