Day shift, Monday to Friday, with 5x8-hour block scheduling from 07 : 00 to 15 : 30 or 08 : 00 to 16 : 30.

\n\nJob Description\n

An exciting opportunity for a Peri-Operative Endoscopy Registered Nurse in an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Join our dedicated team to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, which include examinations and treatments for various gastrointestinal conditions.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient response.

    • \n

  • Handle and label specimens accurately.

    • \n

  • Conduct pre-procedure assessments, including obtaining EKG / ECG and starting IVs.

    • \n

  • Manage airway during recovery and ensure patient safety post-procedure.

    • \n

  • Assist in various endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and EGD.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Endoscopy preferred; strong candidates with less experience will be considered.

    • \n

  • MD RN license required.

    • \n

  • Certifications : BLS and ACLS are required; NIHSS preferred.

    • \n

  • Preferred skills include administering conscious sedation, interpreting dysrhythmias, and familiarity with equipment used in endoscopy.
