Interventional Pain Management opening in VALocated in Alexandria, VirginiaFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE / BC Interventional Pain doctor to join practice.- This position will see non-surgical patients with pain complaints as well as pre- and post-surgical patients.- In addition, this position will require seeing non-interventional spine patients and other acute and subacute musculoskeletal patients.- The successful candidate for this position is expected to work closely with spine surgeons and other physicians in the practice.Procedures this provider would commonly perform include : - Trigger point injections (medicine into the muscle)- Joint injections (often includes steroid component)- Nerve blocks- Epidural steroid injections (for nerve related pain)- Medial branch block and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) (for pain due to arthritis)- Kyphoplasty (for fractures of the vertebra)- Spinal cord stimulation (an advanced form of therapy when injections / medications / surgery have not provided relief)Benefits include : - Competitive salary and benefit package offered. 2-year partnership track available.- 100% outpatient setting Professional, collegial environment in a physician owned / led independent practice- Paid Time Off (PTO)- Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits- Generous 401(k) incentive planLocation : Alexandria, Virginia, is a city on the Potomac River, just south of Washington, DC.
