As a Housekeeper you would be responsible for the cleaning and overall appearance of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas while following Suburban Inns' Core Values and Marriott standards, as well as going above and beyond to ensure that guests are 100% satisfied.

Essential Functions :
Greet all guests in a friendly, positive manner. Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valuedCommunicate regularly with the Executive or Assistant Executive HousekeeperWhen rooms are cleanedTo ensure all early outs, late check outs, etc. are taken care of accordinglyReport any special room issues (i.e., damage, smoke, pets, etc.)Report all missing or broken items and lost and found itemsInspect rooms for safety and report any maintenance issues to the Executive or Assistant Executive HousekeeperAssist in keeping all storage rooms organizedStock housekeeping carts with supplies and amenities needed throughout the shiftClean rooms according to Suburban Inns and brand standardsScrub floor, shower, bathtub, sink, and toilet in bathroomRemove all used guest amenities, linens, and garbageRestock amenities (i.e. coffee, soap, shampoo, etc.)Make beds while checking for damaged or stained linen at the same timeDust and clean room furniture, decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces (i.e. wall fixtures, windowsills, vents, etc.)Vacuum entire bedroom and hallway outside the door to the roomComplete extra tasks assigned (hallways, storage, extra items)Return roll-aways and cribs with fresh linen to the appropriate storage roomsTransport all dirty laundry to the laundry room. Sort dirty laundry according to type, while looking for stained linen at the same time and keeping those separateEnsure that all standards set by Suburban Inns and brand are being followed at all times, while also maintaining a minimum of 45 minutes per roomFollow all Suburban Inns ProcessesExhibit regular and recurrent attendance recordsOther duties as requested by managementPosition Requirements :
Minimum Knowledge : Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing. Good communication skillsFormal Education and Job-Related Experience : NoneLicense, Training, and / or Certification Required : Hazcom Training, Bloodborne Pathogen Training (may be completed upon hire)Work Schedule : Work regularly requires or varies between day, evening, night, holiday, and / or weekend assignments. Uniform : Uniform and name tag provided. Close-toed, non-slip shoes are the responsibility of the Team MemberAppearance : Hair must be kept well-groomed.
