Chef Thomas Keller’s Yountville restaurant, Ad Hoc, is seeking enthusiastic and capable individuals who are passionate about food, beverage and hospitality to join the team as a Host.

Opened in 2006 and originally intended as a temporary concept, Ad Hoc presents the American comfort food of Chef Keller's childhood in a casual dining setting. The restaurant's daily-changing four-course menu is served family-style, capturing the conviviality of home.

Qualified candidates will   possess   a minimum of  1  year  of   previous   experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities :

• Greet and Seat Guests :   Warmly greet guests as they arrive, manage reservations, and efficiently seat guests in the dining area.
• Manage Reservations :   Utilize reservation systems to manage bookings, coordinate seating arrangements, and accommodate special requests.
• Customer Service :   Provide exceptional service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Team :   Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain Cleanliness :   Ensure the host area and entrance are always clean and presentable.
• Promote a Positive Atmosphere :   Foster a welcoming and enjoyable environment for both guests and staff.
