American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience for night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a free-standing emergency department setting
  • Night shift schedule from 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM
  • 13-week travel assignment
  • Patient population consists of emergency and urgent care cases
  • Role is located in a hospital-affiliated freestanding emergency department
  • Responsibilities include providing acute emergency nursing care to a wide spectrum of patients
  • Must provide documentation of US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
  • All certifications must remain valid through the first 30 days of assignment
  • Previous experience in a free-standing ER setting is strongly preferred

    • Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in emergency nursing
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or accepted equivalent required for ER units
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
