Principal Architect / Practice Manager

HumCap’s client, a quickly growing health tech company, is looking to hire Principal Architects for their application and data teams.

We’re seeking Principal Architects who can seamlessly blend consulting excellence with technical leadership. You’ll be the kind of person who could walk into a mid-sized consulting company and lead an application or data practice. At HumCap’s client, you’ll do just that—owning strategy, execution, and innovation across the most critical initiatives.

This role is not just technical—you’ll present to the Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), shape product and platform strategy, and drive Proofs of Concept (POCs) that become production-grade solutions. We are looking for architects who can lead from the front—technically, strategically, and consultatively.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Architecture Strategy : Define and drive application or data architecture across multiple product lines.
• Consultative Leadership : Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients, translating business needs into scalable tech solutions.
• Board & ELT Engagement : Present architectural vision, roadmaps, and outcomes to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
• POC to Production : Rapidly prototype solutions and guide them through full lifecycle implementation.
• Mentor & Influence : Elevate the technical bar across engineering teams through coaching, design reviews, and thought leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to align architecture with business goals.
