Vietnamese Interpreter - Flexible Schedule job at Language World Services, Inc., Sacramento, CA.

Job Description

Hourly Pay : $20.00 - $22.00

Language World is a leading language solutions provider with over 20 years of experience in bridging language and cultural divides. We serve clients and the Limited-English Community by providing professional interpretation services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Convey thoughts and intentions accurately and efficiently into the target language, maintaining the integrity of the conversation.
  • Provide on-site and remote interpreting services (phone and video).
  • Communicate professionally during interpreting sessions.
  • Maintain confidentiality as required by HIPAA.

Requirements

  • Native Fluency in English and Vietnamese
  • Excellent listening, speaking, and retention skills
  • Experience with medical terminology
  • Ability to travel throughout the designated regions
  • Valid CA driver's license and auto insurance
  • Availability during regular business hours (8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.)
  • Successful passing of screening assessments, background checks, drug screenings, and work authorization verification
  • Willingness to obtain medical clearances (TB, MMR, Varicella) and be up-to-date on vaccinations, including COVID-19 vaccines and boosters (exemptions considered)
