Job Title : Behavioral Aide Support Individual (BASI)

Overview :
Were seeking a compassionate and flexible Behavioral Aide to support children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral health needs. This role provides in-home and community-based support as part of our Family Support Services programs. The BASI works closely with therapists, care coordinators, and families to implement behavior plans, build skills, and prevent crises.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide behavioral support, mentoring, and supervision to youth at home and in the community
- Support youth and families in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy routines
- Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators on care plans
- Offer transportation and attend appointments, school meetings, and court sessions as needed
- Support caregivers with strategies around trauma, parenting, and behavior management
- Help individuals recognize triggers and practice emotional self-management
- Coordinate with schools, daycares, DFCS, and other community partners
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services
- Be available for evening / weekend hours and respond to crises as needed
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in a social services field preferred, or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience working with youth with serious emotional / behavioral needsValid drivers license, insured dependable vehicle, and flexible scheduleStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in diverse settings, including homes and schoolsSchedule :
Flexible schedule required, including evenings and weekends, based on family needs. Average of 80 hours per biweekly pay period (full-time).
