Contract Monitor
This position is within Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services' (MDRS) Office of Program Integrity and functions as a Contract Monitor. Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to, the following :
Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple ongoing monitoring activities varying from one program to another; Strong time-management skills and capacity to balance detailed desk reviews and on-site monitoring; Analytical ability, intuition, and logic to evaluate contract compliance and detect risks; Proficiency in both oral and written communication to prepare accurate reports, document findings, and communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and management; Technical knowledge to apply auditing, evaluation, and research methods in reviewing expenditures, deliverables, and service outcomes; Professionalism and confidence to interact with government agencies, vendors, professional associations, and clients, representing MDRS objectively and effectively.
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years of experience. Agency preferred qualifications : Experience with audit / investigation, program analysis, compliance monitoring, or related oversight functions; working knowledge of all programs and support services within MDRS; working knowledge of case management systems such as MAGIC or AACE.
