Position Summary
Equify Financial is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to drive the development, documentation, and delivery of training programs across departments. This role will collaborate with subject matter experts, technology teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of training initiatives that support business operations, employee growth, and knowledge management.
Key Roles / Responsibilities
- Training Development and Coordination
Design and deploy e-learning and in-person training programs.
Manage soft launches and mentor programs for onboarding and upskilling.Coordinate cross-functional training efforts with external partners and departments.Ensure readiness and schedule training aligned with technology rollouts.Manage the day-to-day operations of the LMS.Create and assign learning paths, courses, and certifications within the LMS.Monitor and report on training completion, engagement, and performance metrics.Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the LMS.Documentation and Content ManagementDevelop, standardize, and maintain process documentation for all training programs.
Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to document workflows and align with system implementations.Create clear and consistent templates to facilitate ease of understanding and implementation.Ensure all mandatory training is delivered and documented in compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate training records and ensure timely renewals of required certifications.Project and Program ManagementOversee learning project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Partner with managers and HR to develop long-term training.Lead needs assessments to define training.Stakeholder Communication and SupportServe as a liaison between departments to understand training requirements.
Communicate updates and ensure training materials are accessible via the intranet and internal platforms.Plan, coordinate, and lead organizational town halls and other company-wide communication events.Facilitate interactive sessions to promote transparency, engagement, and feedback.Coordinate with marketing by updating company's intranet content.Required Education, Experience And Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or related field and relevant experience.Certification in APTD and / or CPTD is a plus.3+ years of experience in learning and development, training coordination, or instructional design.Experience within the finance industry is a plus.Strong presentation skills both in-person and virtual.Experience with LMS platforms and eLearning development tools.Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter.Experience producing and delivering training for all levels of employees in a professional setting.Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of training and development methods and techniques.Ability to identify training needs, plan, organize and coordinate training programs to meet those needs.Ability to exercise judgment, make decisions, establish professional contacts, and organize time with minimal supervision.Strong organizational, documentation, and project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Working Conditions
