Role : Senior Specialist, Tax & Regulatory Compliance

Location : Alexandria, VA

Office Schedule : 3 DAYS IN OFFICE, 2 REMOTE

Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $75,000- $98,000

This position may be eligible for vision, dental, medical, 401(k).

Our client, a highly respected and mission-driven organization in the DMV area, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Tax & Regulatory Compliance to join their team.

If you’re experienced with corporate and nonprofit tax filings, including Forms 1120 and 990T, have a strong grasp of tax regulations and UBIT, and are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment — this could be your next big move.

As a key member of the finance team, you’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing critical tax documentation and supporting materials. Your work will help ensure our company's tax compliance and planning strategies remain efficient, accurate, and aligned with regulatory standards.

Experience Requirements :

• 5+ years in Finance / Accounting or business modeling roles.
• Experience preparing / supporting business tax filings (1120, 990T)
• Familiarity with for-profit and nonprofit tax compliance
• Experience using financial systems like NetSuite & Adaptive Planning
