Traveling Field Service Technician - Illinois
Base pay range
$23.00 / hr - $24.00 / hr
This role involves hands-on fieldwork supporting hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job — you'll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.
What will your job involve?
- Traveling across Illinois (95% travel) from the Western Chicago suburbs to the St. Louis area. Overnight stays required : 1x / month
- Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation
- Inspecting and servicing Danies Health containers in clinical areas — this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients
- Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing / pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day
- Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized
- Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team
- Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service
- Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic
