Position Summary :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level IT / Programmer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of COBOL programming , Linux , and Microsoft Windows environments, along with basic helpdesk support experience. Exposure to networking concepts is a plus. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in IT and programming while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and support legacy applications written in COBOL
• Provide first-level helpdesk support to internal users for hardware, software, and system issues (Windows / Linux)
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot basic issues on Linux and Windows servers
• Assist in maintaining and updating system documentation
• Collaborate with senior developers and IT staff on enhancements and bug fixes
• Perform routine system administration tasks and patch management
• Support onboarding of new users (hardware / software setup, account provisioning)
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting (IP configuration, connectivity, DNS, etc.)
