The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
  • Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and / or functional areas.
  • Develop Electrical design for water / wastewater projects
  • Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications
  • Coordinate with regional and global design teams
  • Continuous learning and development of technical expertise / specialty area
  • Do project studies – Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis
  • Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues

This role will support projects for the Phoenix metropolitan area and West Coast Region of the United States. The ideal candidate will live in the Phoenix, AZ Metropolitan area.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any / all of the following : criminal / civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services
  • Consulting and Water / Wastewater experience
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification, and pursuit of Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software
  • Work Environment / Physical Demands

    Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
