We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer II to join our team. As a Structural Engineer II, you'll lead the design and execution of custom structures, including mezzanines, platforms, foundations, and more, from initial concept through installation. Working closely with a team of engineers and project managers, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and collaborate while performing advanced design work in the office and supporting builds in the shop and out in the field.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform Structural calculations, 3D design, 2D drawings, component specification, assembly, and documentation according to jurisdiction standards as assigned
- Communicate with localities to determine jurisdictions that affect assigned projects
- Recognize and pursue additional business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Assign, oversee, review, and provide feedback to other Engineers on work assignments
- Verify that end products meet the project scope, budget, and needs of customers
- Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and purchasing to communicate material needs
- Interpret and create drawings, layouts, and other engineering documentation
- Manage and supervise assigned personnel and ensure effective performance management
