The Sarasota County Fire Department is expanding and has added another Quality and Clinical Coordinator to the EMS Team, who will be responsible for overseeing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) clinical quality assurance, both operationally and administratively. This position ensures that Sarasota County Fire Department consistently meets organizational, regulatory, and evidence-based standards, while fostering collaboration with hospitals, the Department of Health, and neighboring EMS agencies to enhance clinical care and patient outcomes.

In this role, you will support the Fire Department by overseeing EMS quality improvement programs, patient care documentation, and regulatory compliance. This role manages operational and administrative responsibilities, including data analysis, program development, billing oversight, and community education, to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective emergency medical services. CJIS Clearance : The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as part of the hiring process.
Starting Pay Range : $61,734.40 - $70,000.00
