job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDocuments system configuration changes Researches new technologies and solutions to meet customer needs Required Qualification : Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance Must be currently enrolled at Utah State University majoring in a related field (i.e., electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science) Must have at least one year of school remaining Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during school semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer Must be able to work effectively, both independently and as a team member Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing Must be consistently detail-oriented and organized Applicants should have familiarity in one or more of the following areas : Network design and protocols, software and hardware troubleshooting, IT systems, programming / scripting in Python, Bash, and / or PowerShell Preferred Qualifications : Experience in creating detailed documentation and reports Experience with Confluence and Jira Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server, Linux / Unix, and virtualization platforms Willingness and desire to learn about and use a wide array of technologies, system engineering techniques, and complex systems Student Scholar Program : SDL provides unique opportunities for student employees to develop real-world experience and knowledge beyond the classroom through our Student Scholar Program.
