Outpatient Driver

River Vista is currently recruiting an Outpatient Driver. The role itself involves working under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services and / or Outpatient Director. The primary role is to fulfill patient care by working collaboratively with the patient and treatment team to allow patients access to care that is within the allowable limits for transportation to and from programming. The van driver will be required to travel outside of the building for work related purposes, develop transportation routes, and engage in professional interactions with patients, families and possible referral sources / community partners. Documentation of these services will be required in accordance with necessary State, Joint Commission, and / or CARF accreditations. Must complete all safety and education courses required to maintain employment.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• Higher education preferred in the human services field, but not required.
• Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days of employment as required.
