Job Title : Electrical Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Perform various mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies of products to ensure quality, reliability, productivity, and timeliness of shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble various detail parts into semi-complex assemblies using various assembly techniques.
  • Work from detailed blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, or other input documents of similar complexity.
  • Perform electrical circuitry wiring and assemble cables and harnesses.
  • Position and align components in a specified relationship to each other in devices and machines.
  • Perform operations to join or secure parts in place using hand tools, presses, machines, and other types of equipment.
  • Use various measurement instruments effectively.
  • Ensure tools are clean, maintained, and calibrated.
  • Notify manager if parts do not meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Adhere to all factory safety procedures and guidelines.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in electrical assembly, blueprint reading, wiring, and schematic interpretation.
  • Ability to perform mechanical assembly and use hand tools.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Level 1 : 1-2 years of experience with a vocational, high school diploma, or GED; considered a developing professional.
  • Level 2 : 3-4 years of experience, vocational, high school diploma, or GED; trade school certificate preferred, considered a seasoned professional.
  • Level 3 : 5+ years of experience with educational requirements per Level II or high school diploma; considered an industry expert.

    Work Environment

    1st shift from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 / hr.
