Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room of a large hospital setting Patient population includes adult surgical cases with focus on ENT and neurosurgery Required to participate in an alphabetical weekend rotation for shifts, which may be days or nights Scheduled for 12-hour PM shifts Late / call requirements include 4-6 late or call shifts per 6 week schedule, 1-2 lates per week, and up to 24 hours of weekend call One overnight call required (11p-7a) per 6 week schedule block May be assigned Charge RN duties on nights, weekends, or holidays Holiday coverage includes one major and two minor holidays, for either day or night shifts RTO is limited : maximum five days if not near a holiday, maximum three days if near a holiday; only one holiday request allowed Requests for several consecutive days off during holidays are not approved Cannot submit to more than one position at a time for this facility Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license in hand Minimum 18 months of Operating Room RN experience required Strong experience with ENT and neuro procedures required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted Former permanent staff must be separated for 1 year (or 18 months if returning to the same facility) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625206.
