Sales Consultant Role :
The Sales Consultant plays a key role in educating clients and prospective customers about Elite Auto Exchange’s services. This position involves calling and emailing dealership clients, showcasing our services and ensuring clients receive thorough support and instruction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond to incoming leads via phone and email.
- Proactively identify and engage dealerships seeking to buy or sell inventory.
- Schedule and conduct calls with potential dealership partners to discuss available vehicles and trade opportunities.
- Follow the processes the sales team has in place to process deals and do paperwork
- Maintain professional relationships with teammates and dealership clients.
- Stay informed on current models, and trim specifications regarding new vehicles for all makes as part of ongoing training and learning
Key Skills & Competencies :
Willingness to learn and grow; must be able to be coached.Reasonable phone, computer and email skills.Effective verbal and written communication.High level of self-motivation and independence.Strong negotiation skills.Qualifications :
Prior roles such as General Manager, Finance Manager, Floorplan Manager, Sales Consultant, Inventory Manager, or experience with dealer trades, auto auctions, or wholesale operations are highly desirable but not necessary at allSome sales experience, service industry, hospitality industryCompensation / Pay Scale
