Position Overview
The Shipping Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management. This includes supervising the receiving and shipping process, coordinating with freight carriers, ensuring accurate inventory records, and maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse operations, logistics, receiving, and shipping functions.
- Pack goods for shipment according to specifications, transportation methods, and routes.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and negotiate optimal shipping rates.
- Utilize FedEx, UPS, DHL, and other shipping software systems.
- Load shipments onto carriers and verify accuracy of goods shipped and received.
- Perform daily inventory audits and maintain data integrity in company software.
- Inspect incoming goods; reject or report damaged, excess, or misdirected items.
- Route materials to appropriate departments for inspection or storage.
- Maintain documentation, shipping materials inventory, and accurate records.
- Use MS Office (Excel, Word) and other software tools to manage operations.
Minimum Requirements
1–2 years of shipping experience.2–3 years of customer service experience.High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Additional Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines effectively.High attention to detail and accuracy.Team-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Customer-focused mindset and positive attitude.Spanish language proficiency is a plus.Location Requirements
