Earn a $140,000 salary and join a team of master teachers at The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School , featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and on 60 minutes for its revolutionary teacher salaries and its outstanding results. TEP aims to achieve educational equity for students from traditionally underserved communities by utilizing world-class teachers, while re-imagining the teaching profession as a place in which teachers prioritize their own growth - as pedagogical experts, intellectual seekers, and community leaders.
About the Role
As one of the three pillars of our program (Academics, Arts, and Athletics), TEP is deeply committed to building a classroom culture that fosters a genuine love for learning.
Each Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Grade Teacher serves as the lead Master teacher for one class of students, teaching across subjects to build deep relationships that support student progress and development. While teachers must be adept at teaching the range of subject areas, strong experience with literacy instruction is critical to TEP’s mission.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop young thinkers that are equipped to become leaders and agents of change within their communities.
