Overview
Sr. Sales Manager Automotive OEM for a global leading automotive and mobility supplier. The role has global visibility and oversees global OEM accounts, including P&L, account management, new business, program launches, and cross-functional collaboration with program management and operations.
Responsibilities
- Increase market share and develop new business opportunities with assigned automotive OEM accounts globally.
- Build strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Customer P&L responsibility driving revenue and margin growth, exceptional customer service and delivery, and ensuring program launches.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for key targets and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to grow market share and diversify product portfolio.
- Achieve and exceed budget sales and gross margin for your OEM customers.
- Ensure all reports, plans, forecasts and administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner, personally and for the team.
- Meet all reporting deadlines as set by senior management.
- Identify new and profitable opportunities with existing customers and leverage these to increase profitable sales.
- Provide regular and relevant feedback on market conditions, competitor activities and progress towards business objectives.
- Analyze current market position : strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
- Participate in APQP meetings and follow up on commercial and customer-related issues.
- Ensure continuous improvement in a change-oriented culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related field. Engineering or technical degree preferred, but not required.7-10 years of automotive sales experience calling OEMs (Ford, GM, Stellantis, Nissan preferred).Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments.Must have experience with highly complex automotive parts, assemblies, and systems.Must have experience with business development, program launches, and account management.Prior experience working in a global matrix organization.Strong hunter mentality with a track record of developing new business.Analytical and organizational skills, high attention to detail.Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.High level of emotional intelligence.Experience working in a global organization.What's on Offer
