Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the founder of GOTGP on maintaining the mission, future goals, vision and new programs waiting to be launched to support GOTGP growth and success.
  • Manage day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the GOTGP team.
  • Maintain office and main areas.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Work with outside vendors.
  • Schedule and lead weekly team meetings.
  • Work with marketing to generate calls to action and awareness.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments, including Workshop Facilitators and Mentors.
  • Workshop Duties
  • Schedule workshops.
  • Staff Facilitators and Mentors for each workshop.
  • Assist in preparing and executing workshops as needed.
  • Ordering supplies for workshops.
  • Work with marketing to generate participants.
  • Train new facilitators, mentors, and volunteers.
  • Fill in for workshops as needed.
  • Funding, Sponsorships & Donors
  • Research grants and alternate funding sources; grant writing (not necessary but preferred).
  • Assist with follow ups from Director of Community Development to maintain sponsor and donor relationships.
  • Secure event and year-long business partnerships (sponsorships & donations).
  • Support a minimum of 2 large and one small fundraiser each year with the assistance of GOTGP staff, Board of Directors, and volunteer lead committees.
  • Research and implement other streams of revenue through created programs with support of team and existing programs.
  • Board of Directors Duties
  • Work closely with the Board treasurer to create and manage the annual budget and the workshop budget.
  • Schedule and join monthly Board meetings; prepare and send Board Agendas.
  • Community Involvement
  • Schedule and run community events (e.g., Kids Fest, Night Out events, etc.).
  • Fill in for networking events if needed.
  • Work with volunteers and schedule their time.
  • Meet with community partners.
  • Work with Girl Scout / Scout Leaders to book workshops (Sept-May).

Employment Details

  • Employment Type : 1099 Contractor
  • Hours : 25-30 hours per week
  • Pay : $25 per hour, paid bi-weekly (on Fridays)
  • Benefits : Earn Comp time past 30 hours for paid time off; Flexible scheduling; Ability to work from home one day a week; Fun and friendly work environment
  • Time Requirements

  • 3-4 days a week
  • 1 Tuesday evening per month for Board Meeting (4 : 30-6 : 30pm)
  • Up to 4 Sunday afternoons a year as needed (12-4pm)
  • Some afternoons / evenings depending on workshop needs (potentially once a month)
