Operating Room Assistant

What We Offer\n

• Schedule : Full-Time (40 hours), Monday-Friday, five 8 hour shifts from 3P-11P. No call / weekends required other than some holiday call.\n
• Department : Operating Room\n
• Location : Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC\n
• Unit Info : 17 OR rooms, range of procedures including general, vascular & open heart.\n
• Position Info : Assists with the safe patient handling, preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment to facilitate room turnover under direction of the Registered Nurse in collaboration with the surgical team. This is a hands on, physical position!\n\nQualifications\n
• Education : High School Diploma or GED, required.\n
• Experience : One year, required.\n
• Additional Skills (required) : Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing.
