Business Process Analyst (Correspondence Manager / Editor)
LMI seeks a Business Process Analyst (Correspondence Manager / Editor) to support our federal customer in Arlington, Virginia. Responsibilities
- Manage CATMS for the OUSD(A&S) Executive Correspondence Office. Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure completeness of correspondence packages from beginning to end.
- Edit and process executive correspondence packages for senior leader signature, including congressional letters and reports, decision memoranda, DoD policies and directives, and responses to incoming mail.
- Ensure written correspondence products meet Department of Defense standards, guidelines, and updated business rules for written material.
- Utilize the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) to respond to incoming taskers then task packages forward for signature
- Facilitate weekly calls with Front Office counterparts to discuss latest hot topics and issues.
- Coordinate with subordinate offices to assign, review, and route CATMS packages to the appropriate points of contacts for action.
- Check CATMS packages for formatting, proofread, and edit as necessary; prepare documents for signature and ensure proper routing through the staff via hard copy and CATMS.
- Brief senior government officials on status of organizational CATMS packages
- Attend and participate in meetings, take meeting notes, record taskers and actions, and update the staff when necessary.
- Task and coordinate responses for FOIA, DoDIG, GAO, and other requests for government information.
- Update rosters, calendar invites, and address lists, and schedule new employee meet-and-greets with the team's leadership
- Gather forms, assist with training, provide information pertaining to creation requests for network access accounts, ensure equipment is issued, and assist with workspace and laptop set-up.
- Manage multiple assignments from multiple people in busy work environment.
Qualifications
TS / SCI clearance required.5+ years of experience supporting senior DoD leadershipBachelor's degree preferredExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Experience with managing, coordinating, editing, and formatting CATMS packagesPrior experience providing administrative support to senior DoD leadershipExcellent organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff members, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive roleFlexibility and ability to prioritize tasks according to senior staff requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePointA true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environmentHigh energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to interact effectively with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.Target Salary Range - $105,000-$115,000
