Position Overview
The Digital Manufacturing Systems Technician participates in the planning, coordination, and solution development and
implementation activities related to integrating applications and technologies within the plant. Proven communication skills, problem-
solving skills, proficiency in programming languages and data structures, and knowledge of integration best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Digital Manufacturing Systems Technician participates in the planning, coordination, and solution development and
implementation activities related to integrating applications and technologies within the plant. Proven communication skills, problem-
solving skills, proficiency in programming languages and data structures, and knowledge of integration best practices.
1. Identify innovation and integration opportunities, gather and define technical function requirements, plan and execute their
implementation
2. Provide integration of technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating
new applications into the existing application environment.
3. Subject matter expert responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the current Internet of Things (IoT) to assist with root
cause analysis and resolution efforts when operational issues arise.
4. Develop standards, processes, and documentation to support and facilitate projects.
5. Develop an understanding of existing and new administrative software systems.
6. Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions for systems that support a lean manufacturing environment.
7. Assess existing workflow and procedures to identify and remedy the source of downstream data inconsistencies.
8. Where necessary, coordinate with other Digital Manufacturing Group members
