About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : State license required by start date

Certifications : BCLS by AHA, ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Experience in telemetry
• Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• EPIC charting experience
• Travel experience

Description :

Contract must continue into January.

The earliest end date is January 3.

Travelers may request one holiday off.

Locals accepted for one contract.

Same pay for locals.

Travelers must be available for two of three major holidays, including the day before and the day after.

Ratios are 1 : 4-6.

Weekend requirement is three weekends per four-week schedule.

First-timers are accepted.

Float within scope to meet facility needs is required.

Must have experience managing cardiac drips without titration.

Must have arterial line management experience.

Willingness to complete modules prior to start is expected.

Additional skills include peripheral line care, phlebotomy, and care of ventilated patients.

Patient populations consist of adults and geriatrics.

Daily census is 30.

Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Patient diagnoses include pre-and post-op cardiac procedures, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic conditions.

Team members should be prepared to care for a variety of surgical and medical cases.
