Training Deployment Lead (Principal Specialist, Talent Management)

The Raytheon Performance Excellence team is seeking an experienced Training Deployment Lead (Principal Specialist, Talent Management) to join the Program Manager Development team. The team leads the identification, development and growth of current and future program managers who enable successful program execution across the Raytheon business.

This position is responsible for the oversight and leadership of training programs that enable prospective and current program managers to grow into successful program leaders, meet Raytheons business goals, and enhance their technical and leadership skills to accomplish business objectives. This role involves diligently managing the various resources and talent groups that support this mission.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and collaborative team player with strong project management skills and a passion for cutting-edge learning solutions.

Hybrid Work Location(s) : Richardson, TX (preferred), Tewksbury, MA, or Tucson, AZ other Raytheon locations could be considered. (Note : Hybrid roles require eligible candidates to reside within a commuting distance of 50 miles, or less, from the assigned Raytheon site).

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and manage events and projects with minimal oversight to include the deployment of instructor-led onsite training across multiple cities and regions
  • Identify roadblocks and next steps and proactively address urgent needs, in real-time, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with deployment goals
  • Manage the full life-cycle of projects and programs driven by the Program Manager Development team
  • Contribute to efforts that enhance the growth and effectiveness of our Raytheon Program Management community
  • Implement and oversee continuous improvement processes, including analyzing feedback and conducting evaluations to measure learning effectiveness
  • Partner with and manage the appropriate contractors and other stakeholders to effectively source and support learning solutions
  • Manage participant throughput for all training sessions, including nomination, enrollment and completion activities using Workday Learning Management System
  • Ensure instructional design principles, adult learning theories and innovative learning technologies are considered and implemented into curriculum solutions, as appropriate
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels across RTX
  • Travel, up to 25%, to participate in domestic business engagements
  • Work a routine schedule that supports cross-functional team engagement in Pacific and Eastern Standard Time zones

    Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources
  • Experience leading Project initiatives
  • Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience using project management processes and practices while leading projects
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems like Workday
  • Experience leveraging tools and technology to including MS O365 tools (including PowerPoint, Excel, Forms, Lists, SharePoint and Power Apps and Power Automate)
  • High-level of emotional intelligence and learning agility that translates to initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, patience, and the ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Experience developing and / or deploying learning solutions
  • Experience generating professional and impactful presentations that effectively communicate to the appropriate audience
  • Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) Apprentice and / or Champion Level Certificate with aspirations of advanced training

  • The salary range for this role is $82,000 - $164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the companys performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
