The Maintenance Worker Forestry supports the health, safety, and beauty of Burnsville's trees and landscaped areas. This position performs a variety of forestry tasks, including pruning, planting, inspecting, and removing trees, as well as responding to storm events and assisting with snow removal. Using technology such as GIS, this role contributes to proactive urban forest management and helps ensure the City's parks and public spaces remain safe, clean, and welcoming. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in tree care, a strong understanding of tree species and common disorders, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. This non-exempt (hourly) position starts at $34.00 per hour, equivalent to $70,720 annually. The first review of applications will take place Monday, October 27.
