Patient Services Coordinator

Description

TEKSystems is currently seeking an experienced Patient Service Coordinator to work in the Columbia, MD area with one of the largest privately owned healthcare companies.

The PSC will be responsible for :

Patient registration and scheduling

Insurance verification and coordination of services for patients

Charge entry and reconciliation functions

Co-payment and daily cash receipt responsibilities

Handling referrals

Providing front office coverage and assistance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must possess :

• High school Diploma or State Qualified GED
• MUST HAVE 1-2 years of medical experience (preferably in a front desk setting)
• Tenure in a PSR role will be looked at highly for reliability and stability in the workforce
• Previous EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
• One to two years Customer Service Experience (receptionist experience a Plus)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 / hr.
